IN THE MATTER OF an order made by the Canadian International Trade Tribunal on September 12, 1996, in Review No. RR-96-001, respecting:

CERTAIN STAINLESS STEEL WELDED PIPE ORIGINATING IN OR EXPORTED FROM CHINESE TAIPEI1

NOTICE

On November 10, 2000, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal issued Notice of Expiry No. LE-2000-003 relating to the order that it made on September 12, 1996, in Review No. RR-96-001. The aforementioned order continued, without amendment, the finding of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal made on September 5, 1991, in Inquiry No. NQ-91-001, concerning stainless steel welded pipe, originating in or exported from Chinese Taipei, in nominal pipe sizes ranging from 1/8 in. to 6 in. inclusive and with wall thicknesses varying from 0.060 in. to 0.315 in. (1.525 mm to 8 mm) inclusive, manufactured to specification A-312 prescribed by the American Society for Testing and Materials, specification SA-312 prescribed by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, or equivalent specifications.

Pursuant to the Special Import Measures Act, findings of injury or threat of injury and the associated special protection in the form of anti-dumping or countervailing duties expire in five years from the date of the last order or finding, unless an expiry review has been initiated before that date.

No request has been received by the Canadian International Trade Tribunal in support of an expiry review and a continuation of the said order.

Please be advised that, pursuant to subsection 76.03(1) of the Special Import Measures Act, the order will expire on September 11, 2001.
