Inquiry No. NQ-2001-002

IN THE MATTER OF a motion filed by counsel for Laminoir De Dudelange seeking an order to terminate Inquiry No. NQ-2001-002 with respect to the country of Luxembourg, and in particular with respect to Laminoir De Dudelange, pursuant to subsection 42(4.1) of the Special Import Measures Act.

AND IN THE MATTER OF the Tribunal's determination that the volumes of the dumped goods from the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Italy and Malaysia are negligible pursuant to subsection 42(4.1) of the Special Import Measures Act, in Inquiry No. NQ-2001-002 concerning:

Certain cold-reduced flat-rolled steel sheet products of carbon steel (including high strength low-alloy steel) in coils or cut lengths (not painted, clad, plated or coated), in thicknesses from 0.014 inches to 0.142 inches (0.35 mm to 3.61 mm) inclusive, originating in or exported from Brazil, Chinese Taipei, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Italy, Luxembourg, Malaysia, the People's Republic of China, the Republic of Korea and the Republic of South Africa.

ORDER OF THE TRIBUNAL

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal has determined, pursuant to subsection 42(4.1) of the Special Import Measures Act, that the volume of the dumped goods from each of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Italy, Luxembourg and Malaysia is negligible as the volume of the dumped goods of each of those countries is less than three per cent of the total volume of the goods and that, collectively, the volume of the dumped goods from these countries is less than seven per cent.

THEREFORE, the Tribunal hereby grants the above-noted motion and terminates its inquiry with respect to the dumped goods from Luxembourg as well as those from the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Italy, and Malaysia as the volume of the dumped goods for these countries is negligible.
