IN THE MATTER OF an application made by Merley Chains Ltd., under section 67.1 of the Customs Act, for an order extending the time within which a notice of appeal may be filed under section 67 of the Customs Act with respect to detailed adjustment statements dated August 11, 2008, relating to original transaction Nos. 13888013189641, 12039401947468, 12039401864050 and 12039402009034 dated August 11, 2008, issued by the President of the Canada Border Services Agency.

Having considered the submissions of Merley Chains Ltd., having noted that the President of the Canada Border Services Agency took no position with respect to the granting of this application, and being satisfied that the requirements and conditions set out in subsections 67.1(2) and (4) of the Customs Act have been met, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal hereby grants the extension of time and accepts the documents filed by Merley Chains Ltd. on November 14, 2008, as a notice of appeal, under subsection 67(1) of the Customs Act.
