IN THE MATTER OF an application made by Mr. S. Dunlay, pursuant to section 67.1 of the Customs Act, for an order extending the time to file a notice of appeal pursuant to section 67 of the Customs Act with respect to a decision of the President of the Canada Border Services Agency dated March 9, 2012.
Having considered the submissions of Mr. S. Dunlay and noted that the President of the Canada Border Services Agency took no position with respect to the granting of the application, and being satisfied that the requirements and conditions set out in subsections 67.1(2) and (4) of the Customs Act have been met, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal grants the extension of time and hereby accepts the documents filed by Mr. S. Dunlay on June 12 and 18, 2012, as a notice of appeal, pursuant to subsection 67(1) of the Customs Act.
