IN THE MATTER OF a complaint filed by Mr. G. Rondeau pursuant to subsection 30.11(1) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act, R.S.C., 1985, c. 47 (4th Supp.);

AND FURTHER TO a decision of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal to conduct an inquiry into the complaint pursuant to subsection 30.13(1) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act;

AND FUTHER TO a request filed by Mr. G. Rondeau to withdraw the complaint.

ORDER

 

WHEREAS the above-mentioned complaint was filed on September 25, 2014, on behalf of Mr. G. Rondeau;

AND WHEREAS the Canadian International Trade Tribunal decided, on October 2, 2014, to inquire into the complaint, pursuant to subsection 30.13(1) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act and subsection 7(1) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Procurement Inquiry Regulations;

AND WHEREAS, on October 22, 2014, Mr. G. Rondeau filed a request to withdraw the complaint, because, according to the information related to the Canadian International Trade Tribunal, the Department of Public Works and Government Services has decided to re-evaluate his proposal;

AND WHEREAS subsection 30.13(5) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act provides that, if it is of the opinion that the complaint is trivial, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal may cease conducting the inquiry;

AND WHEREAS the Canadian International Trade Tribunal is of the opinion, for these reasons, that the complaint is therefore trivial and that it deems it appropriate, in the present case, to cease the inquiry;

THEREFORE, pursuant to subsection 30.13(5) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal hereby ceases its inquiry.
