IN THE MATTER OF a complaint filed by Hewlett-Packard (Canada) Co. pursuant to subsection 30.11(1) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act, R.S.C., 1985, c. 47 (4th Supp.);

AND FURTHER TO a motion filed by Shared Services Canada on December 15, 2016, requesting that the Canadian International Trade Tribunal dismiss the complaint.

ORDER

The motion to dismiss the complaint of Hewlett-Packard (Canada) Co. (HP) filed by Shared Services Canada on December 15, 2016, is denied. The Canadian International Trade Tribunal is satisfied that it has jurisdiction to inquire into the matter and that the complaint is timely. The Canadian International Trade Tribunal will provide complete reasons for its denial of the motion at the conclusion of the inquiry when it issues its final determinations regarding the complaint. The Canadian International Trade Tribunal will also address costs at that time.

The new deadline to file the Government Institution Report (GIR) is Tuesday, January 24, 2017. HP shall file its comments on the GIR, if any, by Thursday, February 2, 2017.
