IN THE MATTER OF a complaint filed by Wescam Inc. under subsection 30.11(1) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act, R.S.C. 1985 (4th Supp.), c. 47;
AND IN THE MATTER OF a decision made pursuant to subsection 30.16(1) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act to award Wescam Inc. its reasonable costs incurred in relation to filing and proceeding with the complaint.
ORDER
In a determination made on May 7, 2001, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal awarded Wescam Inc. its reasonable costs incurred in relation to filing and proceeding with the complaint.
On June 7, 2001, Wescam Inc. submitted to the Canadian International Trade Tribunal its claim for costs in the amount of $4,695.12 for filing and proceeding with the complaint. On June 27, 2001, the Department of Public Works and Government Services wrote to the Canadian International Trade Tribunal stating that it had no comment with respect to the claim for costs.
The Canadian International Trade Tribunal has reviewed the claim submitted by Wescam Inc. and the comments made by the Department of Public Works and Government Services and hereby awards Wescam Inc. costs in the amount of $4,695.12 for filing and proceeding with the complaint and directs the Department of Public Works and Government Services to take appropriate action to ensure prompt payment.
