IN THE MATTER OF a complaint filed by StorageTek Canada, Inc. under subsection 30.11(1) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act, R.S.C. 1985 (4th Supp.), c. 47;

AND IN THE MATTER OF a decision made pursuant to subsection 30.16(1) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act to award StorageTek Canada, Inc. its reasonable costs incurred in relation to filing and proceeding with the complaint.

ORDER

In a determination made on May 29, 2000, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (the Tribunal) awarded StorageTek Canada Inc. (StorageTek) its reasonable costs incurred in relation to filing and proceeding with its complaint.

On June 7, 2000, the Department of Public Works and Government Services (the Department) wrote to the Tribunal stating its intention to fully implement the Tribunal's decision. StorageTek submitted to the Tribunal, on June 23, 2000, its claim for costs in the amount of $13,343.49 for filing and proceeding with its complaint. On July 18, 2000, the Department wrote to the Tribunal stating that it had reviewed the claim made by StorageTek and concluded that the amount of $13,343.49 was acceptable.

The Tribunal has reviewed the claim and the comments made by the Department and hereby awards StorageTek costs in the amount of $13,343.49 for filing and proceeding with its complaint and directs the Department to take appropriate action to arrange payment.
