IN THE MATTER OF a complaint filed by Melanite Group Ltd. pursuant to subsection 30.11(1) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act, R.S.C., 1985, c. 47 (4th Supp.);

AND FURTHER TO a decision of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal to conduct an inquiry into the complaint pursuant to subsection 30.13(1) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act;

AND FURTHER TO the withdrawal of the complaint by Melanite Group Ltd.

ORDER

WHEREAS the above-mentioned complaint was filed on May 30, 2019, by Melanite Group Ltd.;

AND WHEREAS the Canadian International Trade Tribunal decided, on May 31, 2019, to inquire into the complaint, pursuant to subsection 30.13(1) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act and subsection 7(1) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Procurement Inquiry Regulations;

AND WHEREAS, on June 28 and July 2, 2019, Melanite Group Ltd. informed the Canadian International Trade Tribunal that it was withdrawing the complaint because it has reached an agreement with the Department of National Defence;

AND WHEREAS subsection 30.13(5) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act provides that the Canadian International Trade Tribunal may cease conducting the inquiry;

THEREFORE, pursuant to subsection 30.13(5) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal hereby ceases its inquiry. Each party will bear its own costs in this matter.
