IN THE MATTER OF a complaint filed by Inventa Sales & Promotions pursuant to subsection 30.11(1) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act, R.S.C., 1985, c. 47 (4th Supp.);

AND FURTHER TO a decision of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal to conduct an inquiry into the complaint pursuant to subsection 30.13(1) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act;

AND FURTHER TO an order to postpone the award of any contract issued pursuant to subsection 30.13(3) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act;

AND FURTHER TO a request by the Department of Public Works and Government Services to rescind the order to postpone the award of any contract.

ORDER

WHEREAS the above-mentioned complaint was filed on May 26, 2021, by Inventa Sales & Promotions;

AND WHEREAS the Canadian International Trade Tribunal decided, on May 28, 2021, to inquire into the complaint, pursuant to subsection 30.13(1) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act (CITT Act) and subsection 7(1) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Procurement Inquiry Regulations;

AND WHEREAS, on May 31, 2021, the Tribunal ordered, pursuant to subsection 30.13(3) of the CITT Act, that the Department of Public Works and Government Services (PWGSC) postpone the award of any contract in connection with the current procurement until the Tribunal determined the validity of the complaint;

AND WHEREAS, on June 3, 2021, PWGSC informed the Tribunal that the contract at issue had been awarded to PRIME Strategies Inc. d.b.a. PRIME Event Partners;

THEREFORE, the postponement of award of contract order issued on May 31, 2021, is hereby rescinded.
