IN THE MATTER OF a complaint filed by Stor-it Systems Ltd. pursuant to subsection 30.11(1) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act;

AND FURTHER TO a decision to conduct an inquiry into the complaint pursuant to subsection 30.13(1) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act;

AND FURTHER TO the withdrawal of the complaint by Stor-it Systems Ltd.

ORDER

WHEREAS Stor-it Systems Ltd. (Stor-it) filed the above-mentioned complaint on June 22 and June 26, 2023, in relation to a request for proposal issued by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) for the supply and installation of U-shaped workbenches with cabinets and drawers;

AND WHEREAS in its complaint, Stor-it alleged that the RCMP wrongly determined that its bid did not comply with all the mandatory requirements of the solicitation and disputed the extension of the contract delivery date for the winning bidder;

AND WHEREAS the Canadian International Trade Tribunal decided, on June 28, 2023, pursuant to subsection 30.13(1) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act (CITT Act) and subsection 7(1) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Procurement Inquiry Regulations, to inquire into one of the grounds of complaint, i.e., Stor-it’s allegation that the RCMP wrongly determined that its bid did not comply with all the mandatory requirements of the solicitation;

AND WHEREAS, on August 15, 2023, the RCMP notified the Tribunal that the matter was resolved between the parties and that the complaint was accordingly withdrawn on the consent of both parties;

AND WHEREAS, on August 17, 2023, Stor-it confirmed its intention to withdraw the complaint;

AND WHEREAS subsection 30.13(5) of the CITT Act provides that the Tribunal may cease conducting the inquiry;

THEREFORE, pursuant to subsection 30.13(5) of the CITT Act, the Tribunal ceases its inquiry.

Each party will bear its own costs.
