NOTICE OF SUSPENSION OF INQUIRY

SUCKER RODS

On March 20, 2020, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal was notified by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) that, pursuant to subsection 49(1) of the Special Import Measures Act (SIMA), the CBSA accepted undertakings offered by the exporting parties in its investigation with respect to certain sucker rods originating in or exported from Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico, and that, accordingly, pursuant to section 50 of SIMA, the CBSA suspended its investigation for as long as the undertakings are in force.

In light of the foregoing, and taking note that no requests under subsection 49(3) of SIMA were made, the Tribunal hereby gives notice that, on March 20, 2020, pursuant to 50 section of SIMA, it suspended its inquiry into the above-referenced matter.
