NOTICE OF INQUIRY

CLOUD-BASED SERVICES

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal has received a complaint from Oracle Canada ULC (Oracle) of Mississauga, Ontario, concerning a procurement (solicitation CS-IAAS-2024) made by Shared Services Canada (SSC). The solicitation is for the provision of cloud-based infrastructure as a service and native platform as a service. Pursuant to subsection 30.13(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act and subsection 7(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Procurement Inquiry Regulations, notice is given that the Tribunal made a decision on May 29, 2024, to conduct an inquiry into the complaint.

Oracle alleges various irregularities in the procurement process, including that SSC failed to provide clear and fair criteria to select and prequalify suppliers.
