NOTICE OF INQUIRY

Beacon, Secondary Surveillance Radar (SSR) Radar Equipment, Except Airborne

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal has received a complaint from SPX Aids to Navigation LLC (SPX) of New Hampshire, United States of America, concerning a procurement (solicitation F7047‑231214/A) made by the Department of Public Works and Government Services (PWGSC) on behalf of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans. The solicitation was for the supply of rotating beacons, arctic rotating beacons, omnidirectional beacons and self-contained LED lanterns to authorized users. Pursuant to subsection 30.13(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act and subsection 7(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Procurement Inquiry Regulations, notice is given that the Tribunal made a decision on June 7, 2024, to conduct an inquiry into the complaint.

SPX alleges irregularities in the procurement process, including that PWGSC failed to make available to potential suppliers all information necessary to permit them to meaningfully and fairly participate in the procurement process.
